The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability Specialisation) provides enrolled students with an entry level qualification into the Disability Sector. This nationally accredited qualification is recognized in all States and Territories in Australia. This course is designed for individuals wanting to work in residential services, outreach services, individualised support services, hostels and other community and adult training services.

Every Monday (unless it falls on a public holiday). The cut off for enrolment will be the Friday the week before.
* As described earlier, Competency Based Training is based on the learner being able to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. Some students may take longer to do this. Auscare offers support to all students and can arrange for further training should competency not be demonstrated in the period detailed here.

Competency Based Training is based on the learner being able to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. Competency standards are industry-determined specifications of performance that set out the skills and knowledge required to work effectively in a specific industry or profession. For a person to be assessed competent, they need to demonstrate the ability to perform tasks and duties to the standard expected in employment. Competency standards are an endorsed component of a training package.

|The student is required to pay a deposit of 50% of the Tuition Fee plus the $100 Resources Fee upon enrolment. The balance is payable 2 weeks prior to the end of the classroom training. Please refer to our Refund Policy before application.|
|Recognition of Prior Learning (IPL) is charged at $77 per unit of competency.|

|Entry Requirements||No minimum education standard is set as a prerequisite to entry to this course. However, you should be aware that as the sector works closely with bodily functions, medical and anatomy terms are used and must be understood, therefore a general command of spoken and written English, ability to communicate with colleagues and clients as well as the ability to read and write a simple report is required. This course requires the satisfactory completion of oral and written tasks.|
