This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to carry out manual handling tasks in a safe and healthy manner in accordance with the Code of Practice: Manual Tasks (2010), Work Health and Safety Legislation and organisational policies and procedures.
With an emphasis in the Health Care and Community Services Industry, on completion on this session, participants will be able to.
Demonstrate warming up exercises to be done prior to commencing duty.
Demonstrate safe work postures and movements.
Participate in safe manual handling practices.
Demonstrate safe and effective use of manual handling equipment.
Participants who successful complete this course will receive Auscare Training Organisation’s Certificate of Participation. This Certificate is highly regarded in the health and community services industry. This course can also be tailored to meet the needs and requirements of your organisation.

This course will be delivered face-to-face at Auscare Training Organisation.

3 hour workshop – 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
